Flash Gagnon: Giant Nerd

I like what I like. No reason other than that. Think of me as an Anti-Hipster.

Ryan Burton teams up with John Bivens for an all-new ongoing series that blends elements of dark fantasy and action with mystery.
With ribsword in hand, with gore in her curling locks, Sym has been sent to the distant past to murder her creators’ enemies. But the twisted alchemists who made Sym do not know that the engine that powers her is sentient, that it is the seed of their destruction. By blood and by fury, Sym will carve out her destiny in this new ongoing series.   DARK ENGINE is about the evil things that lurk inside us all. “Some drive us, some are alive and thinking. And Sym will learn just exactly what drives her, and why she was sent back in time to essentially murder anything standing,” explained Burton. “Of course, John [Bivens] does a brilliant job of capturing the enormous scope of the story, whether it’s showing the stygian machinations of Sym’s creators or the harrowing vistas that are littered with the husks of old Lovecraftian monsters, it’s all there.”   DARK ENGINE #1 arrives in stores on 7/16, and will be available for $3.50. It can be pre-ordered with Diamond Code MAY140574.
Spread the word folks.  Your all awesome, Ryan and I appreciate the help.

This looks sweet!

Something new to chew on, I will most definitely be checking this out!

A statement to ULine, our former office supply vendor. Basic human rights trump deals on office supplies any day of the week.

Oni respectfully drops a vendor and explains why.

This is awesome. Well done OniPress.

A friend of mine, who as you can see, is an amazing artist. He posted this in response to the R.E. Howard poem “Men of The Shadows” that I posted on my FB. This is literally what I pictured when I read this scene in the story. Check out his other stuff at http://burningmonster.blogspot.ca/ or google him, he is the great and talented Richard Pace!

Why would anyone ever think that you can insult an artist into working for you? People like this ruin it for everyone.

Screw ‘em Tony. This guy won’t get too far in life. Sorry you had to waste your time responding to this turd.

fuckyeahbehindthescenes:

The skeleton found by Tuco inside the wrong coffin at Sad Hill cemetery, was a real human skeleton. A deceased Spanish actress wrote in her will she wanted to act even after her death.
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966)

Holy shit! I will forever watch that scene differently.
