It’s with a heavy heart that I find out Joe Kubert passed away. I remember getting into his work, it was with the acquiring of his book with Brian Azzarello, Sgt. Rock: Between Hell and a Hard Place, that I got addicted. I had to have everything I could get my hands on that was his work. He just had a way of putting lines on a page that made you see the movement of the characters. I know he has left a wonderful legacy not only in his sons Andy and Adam, but also in the work of his students from his art school. But I will still miss not getting the chance to meet him. Rest in Peace Joe.
